Happy Birthday Mack

Mack, Grandma V and cakes. What a good combination. Thanks for making such great looking and tasting cakes Grandma. Happy 3rd Birthday Mack. We love you so much and are so glad you are here with us.

Check out the cute little face on this guy. This is what he looked like as we all sang Happy Birthday to him. It was absolutely hilarious.
Blowing out the candles.

Mack tearing into this present. This ended up being fruit snacks and a bulldozer for the sand box. Mack did such an aweome job thanking everyone and not crying about anything. He is even getting better at sharing his toys with his brothers.

What is it you ask...a fishing pole of course. He had to have a new one too. Other great gifts that Mack received are a new backpack for school with goodies that filled it, a big rocket ship that lights up and makes noises, a new shovel for outside, more sand toys, a tool belt, a bubble maker (blows bubbles for me), and of course, a tricycle that he is pedalling on very well.

Mack taking the first swings at the baseball pinata. It took quite a bit of time for this thing to break. 7 kids and several rounds later, we decided to just rip it apart.

My Grandma's 99th Birthday party!

Happy Birthday to my Grandma Hill. 99 great years. Here she is with her remaining children (Susie, Gene, Mary, Kenny and Diane). My Uncle Lenny and Aunt Bonnie have already past away and we miss them so much. What a beautiful women. Congrats Grandma!

Hot Air Balloon Fest in Wausau

Today is the day Mom decided to bring the boys to see all the hot air balloons. But, before any of them start taking off, we check out the NASA station. Here is Astronaut Amy.

The fun octopus balloon. This was my favorite.

We saw more balloons in the sky all at once then we did on the ground.

Dirk took this picture.
What a cute little face.

Happy 4th of July!

We had a nice big group of people this year. Besides all of the adults, we had 7 little kids running around. Chad gave each one of them a chance to light a firework and throw it to the road. Thanks to Chad, we had a little fireworks show of our own.

Dad helping Dirk with a firework. After it gets lit, Dirk throws it and it has different colors of smoke.

Papa and Brock not watching the fireworks.

Sat July 3rd picnic at Kris and Eugene's.

After eating, out came the ice cream and there was nothing clean about it. Brock was a complete mess from his head to his feet. No one wanted him to come near them because we were all afraid we were going to be covered in chocolate ice cream. After the ice cream, comes what else...of course, horse rides and kitty cats. Thanks for the fun day Aunt Kris and Uncle Eugene.

Trying to get Brock to wave to the camera.

Dirk posing for the camera. He couldn't wait to ride the horse.

Mack on the horse.

Dirk just loved his little kitty and he did such a good job carrying it back to the barn. He was so proud of the fact that he got to carry it all the way.

Mack putting the kitty back by momma.

Brock chilaxin' on the porch at the end of the day.

Worker guy, Dirk!

My two worker men. Dad built this fence for me, but Dirk did a good job helping. Thanks, I love it.

Bay Beach!

While Dad works hard for the family, we take off on an adventures with Amy and John. It was Amy's idea for us to take off for the day to Bay Beach in Green Bay. Here is John, Dirk and Brock waiting while Amy buys tickets for the rides. Tickets are only $.25 and each ride is either 1 or 2 tickets. Very inexpensive and prices for food weren't bad either. Thanks Amy Jo and John for taking us, we had so much fun!

Mack looks like a natural in this speed boat.

And their off! Who is going to win the race?

Dirk taking off in racing car red #9.
Mack taking off in the bright orange #10.

Brock in the shiny, black #3 race car.

All 3 boys on these little trains. They were able to pull a cord that made the bells ring.
John and Dirk racing down the hills!

Amy and Mack coming down the big slide. It was fun, but very scary as you stand at the top and look down. That first hump makes it look like you are going to come right off of the slide (straight down), but once you get going, it sure is fun. I think Dirk and Mack could have done this all day, but Brock was too little and I would never have been able to hold him back.

The Swings!

Mack seemed a little bored on some of the earlier rides, but once he got on these swings, we think he really enjoyed them. Dirk, not so much, he wanted to come off of it pretty early.

Brock showing us that he still had his ticket. He did so good at holding on to them so that he could get on the rides. This one is for the train.

Dirk and Mack holding their tickets to ride on the train. We didn't think we were going to be able to wait any more longer (quote from Dirk), they were so excited.

The train that we waited and waited and waited to ride.
