Brock's 4th Birthday Party!  Go Minions!
I can't believe my baby is 4.  What an adventure he has been for me.  He can be such a little bully and so mean sometimes, but he sure has made this family complete.  I wouldn't trade him for anything and I love him to pieces.  Happy Birthday to my Bubber.

Since the artist of the family wasn't here, I had a girl that I work with at Applebee's draw this cute little sign for him.  He LOVED it.

Mom and her Minions!  Brock's shirt says part-time Minion...full-time Ninja and boy is that true!

Singing Happy Birthday.  It's my favorite to watch their faces when everyone sings.

Blew them all out in one shot, no girlfriends.  Even though his 2 besties at school are girls.

He opened this gift first and we didn't know who it was from until he pulled out the picture of Uncle John and yelled, "it's from John".  It was the cutest!

Spiderman slippers from Uncle Jeff, Aunt Rochelle, Rylee and Addison.  Along with a gift card for Target.

Magnetic blocks from Grandma & Papa Hill.

Clothes, underwear (awkward) and Legos from Papa and Grandma Vanderwyst.

Ninja Turtle Truck and figurine from Aunt Brenda, Uncle Brad, Jake and Raegan.

Monster's University from Uncle James, Aunt Amy, Justice and Archer.

This picture for the cake was my idea, but Dairy Queen put it together for me.  Brock couldn't stop laughing at the fact that he was in the middle of all the Minions.

Daddy and Brock concentrating on putting together the Ninja Turtle vehicle.
For as much as the boys really loved the triple bunks, they also wanted them to come down.  And, frankly, I agreed.  They were way to hard on me when I wanted to change the sheets in the 2nd and 3rd bunk.  So, I made Chad and his buddy Sam take one down.  We (me, Dirk, Mack and Brock) love the new look and there is still lots of room to play.

Brock's 4th Birthday

Unfortunately, Chad had to work this night and I also had to do a little work, so Lauren (babysitter) watched the boys for a bit and when I got home, she helped us do a little celebrating.

The boys love cupcakes, so that was what we used for the night of his actual birthday.

New "as we call him" spidey man jammies and new slippers from Mom and Dad.

Spiderman car and figurine from his brothers.

The one and only Halloween picture from this year.  Brock is of course, Spider Man, I am a cowgirl (only one in my department that did some type of dressing up), Mack is a Ninja and Dirk was Optimus Prime.

Brock had a Halloween celebration at his school this year and here are a couple of pictures.  He also had a Halloween program which I videotaped and will send soon.  My first little boy (3) to actually participate in the program. I am looking forward to seeing how all 3 of them will do at the Church Christmas program.

1st Day of School

I have had the ability to stay home with my kids for 5 years and as much as I have appreciated it, today was the day. I am very excited for 3 boys to be in school...I look forward to my 3 hours of solitude on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, no screaming, fighting, sassy kids to have to break up and put in time outs. I am eating breakfast without interruption and I know that all 3 boys are in great hands because they all have great teachers.  I hope to find a job where I can work for 5 hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and Brock will be in daycare then.  Brock was the most excited for school, Dirk and Mack didn't want to go, but this is the first year that they are in the same school.

My Grandma

Unfortunately, after getting home from the zoo around 8:45pm, my Grandma Hill (101 years old) passed away.  She lived a long life and outlived 2 of her own children.  Here are some pictures in memory of her.  May she rest in peace.

The picture below is of Dirk...four generations, she would have been 94.

This picture is her with Brock.
